About Stretch the Ride
Stretch the Ride is the proud culmination of a vision sparked into action by a very special patient known and loved as “Stretch.”
The late William “Stretch” Smaltz was passionate about developing this foundation to support the basic needs of local cancer patients and their family members, and to relieve the financially devastating impact cancer can have on the stability of everyday life.
“Stretch the Ride Foundation” was founded by Michael Lambo, MD, Peggy Neese, and Sherri Wunderlich, RN, in loving memory of William Smaltz, and would not be possible without the support of Stretch’s wife, Karen, and his daughter, Kelly.
Schedule:
- 10:30 AM Registration / Open grill lunch / Practice range
- 12:00 PM Shotgun start: Scramble format, complimentary beverages/snacks on the course
- 5:00 PM Open bar/Chipping contest at the pond
- 5:30 PM Dinner station buffet opens
- 6:30 PM Close of silent auction / raffle
Registration:
- $60 Dinner ticket only (includes cocktail hour)
- $200 per golfer
